Lump-sum kilometres allowances

 

Context

Employees may have to use their private car in the scope of their employment. In such event, employers may allot them a tax-free lump-sum amount per professional kilometre performed with their private car provided the total yearly mileage does not exceed 24.000 kms per year.

News

The aforesaid tax-free lump-sum amount of EUR 0,2636 per kilometre has been increased to EUR 0,2677, effective 1 July 2002.
