Non-Resident Tax Return 2004 – Published Today

The Royal Decree specifying the model of the 2003 income year non-resident tax return was published today in the Official Gazette.

The due date is not yet known, but based on informal contacts we have had with the tax authorities, it is foreseen to be 17 December 2004.

As last year, the non-resident taxpayer will be able to download the tax return from the tax administration web site, complete it on-screen and then print off the completed return themselves. He/she (and spouse or legal cohabitant, if applicable) finally must sign and date the printed tax return and send it back (by post) to the tax authorities along with the signed and dated official paper version received by (normal) post.
